Central Coast Dementia Alliance
Make enjoying life easier
Actively working together to improve the wellbeing of people living with memory loss and dementia, and their carers and families, in the Central Coast community.
The purpose of the Central Coast Dementia Alliance (CCDA) is to increase awareness and disrupt the way the community and care providers think about dementia, while achieving excellence in the care and support of people living with memory loss and dementia, and their carers and family.
The Alliance aims to ensure a collaborative and integrated approach to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects that improve the health, care, and quality of life of people living with dementia, their carers and families, as well as providing support to those that provide care and services to them.
The Alliance aims to achieve this through a formal partnership between key stakeholders, and people living with dementia and their carers, which enables the sharing of information and resources, and the actioning of a developed plan within agreed timelines.
Membership includes nominated representatives from key stakeholders and community members across the region, that have pledged a commitment to the purpose and objectives of CCDA, and active participation in meetings and workgroup(s).
